William Ferguson

  It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, William “Bill” Ferguson. Bill passed peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016, surrounded by family.
  Born in South Africa, Bill immigrated to Canada in 1964 with his wife, Myra, and daughter Susan. He established a successful engineering firm with clients throughout North America. He later expanded to the United States, where he eventually retired.
  His leadership and drive carried on long after retirement, with his never-ending love of car racing, his involvement in the church and, of course, his family.
  Bill is survived by his loving wife, Myra; two daughters, Susan (Jeff) Clegg and Kim (Al) Briard; and granddaughters Jacqueline and Laura Briard.
  A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2016, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5781 Hendrickson Ave., Ferndale, followed by a reception.
