Wesley Dorvan Morris passed away on Aug. 9, 2016. He was born on March 27, 1949.
A man with a number of acquaintances and a few friends, Wes lived a solitary, but never lonely life in Tucson, the city he loved.
Preceded in death by his father, Dorvan Morris, Wesley died suddenly at Tucson Medical Center and is now sleeping in Christ.
He leaves behind his mother, Vivian Gates Morris, and his sister, Yvonne Best (Robert), all of Ferndale; cousins Beverley Proefrock and Arthur Proefrock (Mary Lou), all of Reed City, Michigan; Raymond Kooiman, Sue Stacey, Judy Duron (Blas), Cindy Modreske and Randy Kooiman (Kathy), all of Michigan; Michael McCastle of Alamagordo, New Mexico; and Christy Anderson (Will) and Marlene Chabot, all of Tucson.
A bicyclist in the most inclement of weather, he never found a coin or bill he didn’t keep. Wes was a gentle soul who will be sorely missed.
