Lowell (Sam) Crabtree was born at home on March 19, 1933, and passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018, at the age of 85.
Sam was a very loving father, grandfather and friend. He was well known in the community through his work with the phone company, being on the Lynden fair board and the Lynden Fire Department.
Sam leaves behind two brothers, Ron Crabtree and Richard Crabtree; his daughter, Donna O’Brien; four grandsons, Trevor O’Brien, Travis O’Brien, Taylor O’Brien and Thomas O’Brien; and four great-grandchildren.
We will be celebrating his life in First Reformed Church, 610 Grover St., Lynden, at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14, with a reception following the service.
