Robert E. Little, 82, passed away on July 19, 2017 at 3:10 p.m. at Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake.
Robert was born on Dec. 31, 1934 in Bellingham. After graduating from Meridian High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served in Germany. He was a state park ranger and district supervisor for over 25 years for several parks in Washington State. After retiring in Coulee City, Washington, he was a bus driver for the local school district for over 25 years. He also served a term as mayor of Coulee City.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Ralph; his mother, Oma; and two sisters, Lucella and Anna Lou.
He is survived by his wife, Colleen; children Lisa, Stacey and Rod; grandchildren Sharayah, Kierra, Kendra, Jared, Megan and Cameron, and great-grandson Charlie; his brothers and sisters Ronald, Elmer, Rose, Doris and Lola. Numerous friends and family will miss his calm presence and example of sacrificial love.
His ashes will be interred in Greenacres Memorial Park of Ferndale at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 27, with a reception being held afterwards.
