Patti Anne Tellefsen, age 44, passed away at home on Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017 after an extended illness. We are comforted to know we will see her again as she knew Jesus as her personal Savior.
Patti was born on July 25, 1973 in Abbotsford, British Columbia, to parents Irwin and Linda (Poignant) De Jong. She grew up in the Lynden area, graduating from Lynden High School. Patti met Michael Tellefsen and they were married on Dec. 9, 1994 in Nooksack.
Patti enjoyed home decorating and Hallmark movies and was a whiz at games on her iPad.
Patti is survived by her husband, Michael; parents Irwin and Linda De Jong; siblings James De Jong, Scott De Jong and Rhonda Booz and husband Bartt; and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her brothers-in-law Jeff and Matt (Maxine) Tellefsen and father-in-law John Tellefsen.
She was preceded in death by her wonderful mother-in-law, Sharon Tellefsen.
A memorial service is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, in Faith Reformed Church, corner of Seventh and Liberty streets, with Pastor Marcus Roskamp officiating.
