Patsy Kay Hamlin, age 78, of Pullman, passed away on July 29, 2017 after a brief struggle with cancer.
Patsy was born Sept. 18, 1938 in Hobart, Oklahoma, to Ollie and Jessie Wilson. Patsy was the youngest of eight children, four brothers and three sisters. During her life, Patsy resided in Oklahoma, New Mexico, California and finally Washington. Patsy moved to Pullman in 2012 from Everson to be near her children and grandchildren.
Patsy worked in several accounting positions throughout her life, but her real love was the Lord and family. She enjoyed quilting, camping, riding ATVs, driving the sand rail, taking family vacations, and anything and everything having to do with her family.
Patsy is survived by her four sons, Randy Johnson of Los Lunas, New Mexico, Chris Henderson of Sun City, California, Alton Henderson of Pullman, and Michael Henderson of Pullman; three grandchildren, Kyndra of Santa Cruz, California, and Anthony and Michael of Nooksack; also her sister, Katheryn Cain of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 12 nephews and seven nieces; and finally, Patsy is survived by her 26-pound cat Simba, who added an extraordinary amount of joy to her life.
All are welcome to join family for a memorial and remembrance of Patsy’s life at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, in Evangelical Free Church, 4812 Airport Rd., Pullman.
