FERNDALE — A new set of lounge furniture was delivered last week to the Ferndale Senior Activity Center, thanks to the combined contributions of the Lucky Seven Foundation, Samuel’s Furniture and Tulalip Quil Ceda Community contributions.
Seating and reading areas of the Ferndale center have long been under-used, said Lawana Chapman, treasurer of the Jet Oldsters of Ferndale Association. That’s partly because the meager furniture there happened to be old and difficult for seniors to use.
