Monty and Bonnie Westford of Ferndale are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary with a private family dinner at their favorite restaurant, The Cliff House. They were married on Dec. 3, 1966, in the bride’s hometown of El Segundo, California, but made their home and spent their married life in Whatcom County. Monty is retired from Georgia-Pacific Corporation and Bonnie continues to be self-employed as a hairstylist. They are beloved parents to daughter Shanon Hardie of Ferndale and their late son-in-law Scott Hardie, son Bo Westford and wife Teri of Custer, as well as amazing grandparents to Drew and Brett Westford. They are always there for you and quick with hugs to tell you they love you. As their family we wish to honor their 50 years of devotion to each other and the wonderful memories they have made with family and lifelong friends. “We love you, Mom and Dad, a.k.a.
