Michael Robert Teachman went home to be with His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, July 8, 2018. Michael, and daughter Anna, were tragically killed in an automobile accident near Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Michael graduated from Washington State University and worked for the Boeing Company nearly 30 years. He and his wife Lori raised two daughters, Anna and Kara, supporting them in homeschool, choir, band, camp, church, 4H and Dairy Ambassador. Michael was very proud of his daughters and all that they learned and accomplished together.
Michael was passionate about many things, but even in his quiet way he was most passionate about his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and was very involved at Des Moines Gospel Chapel as a deacon and missions. Michael loved flying, was a licensed pilot, and just loved to be around airplanes.
Michael is survived by his wife, Lori; daughter Kara; mother Carol; sisters Diane (Steve) Fairbanks and Sandra (David) Knapp; uncle Norman; mother-in-law Gladys Sherlock; and a number of nieces and nephews.
There will be a private family graveside service in Ten Mile Cemetery, Lynden. The memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 29, in Overlake Christian Church, 9900 Willows Rd. NE, Redmond, WA 98052.
Arrangements are entrusted to Gillies Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
