Meyer Kalam Phillip McConnell of Everson went into the loving arms of Jesus on Aug. 6, 2017. He was born on March 6, 2017 to his loving parents, Josh and Kari (Gardner) McConnell.
He is survived by his siblings, Airman Austin (U.S. Air Force), Landin, Anna, Kestin and Marley; grandparents Wayne and Lori Gardner, Kelli Isfeld, Bill and Ruth Geyer, Phil and Cyndi (Schaeffer) McConnell; great-grandmothers Janet LeMaster and Joyce Gardner; and numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by great-grandparents Kay LeMaster, “Jiggs” Gardner, Eleanor and Cederic Van Steenwyk, Francis “Hap” and Annetta McConnell, and the beloved family pet Kona.
For the short five months of Meyer’s life, he brought joy and laughter to our family. He was surrounded by the devoted love of his mother and father and the rest of his adoring siblings. Meyer loved being sung to and all of the hugs and smooches he received from his large family.
“Meyer, Mommy and Daddy love you so much and will see you again.” Meyer will forever remain in our hearts.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, in Everson, at Christ Fellowship.
Arrangements are entrusted to Gillies Funeral Home of Lynden.
