Marvin Ray Koop, 64, died Sept. 3, 2018, in Bellingham after a short illness. At his request, no services will be held.
Marvin was born on March 25, 1954, in Bellingham to William and Dena (Van Egdom) Koop. He worked most of his adult life for the Skagit County Public Works Department. Marvin never married.
Marvin was preceded in death by brothers William Koop and Dan Visser.
He is survived by brothers Pete Visser of Lynden and Leroy Visser of Sumas; sister Jennifer Jansen of Woodburn, Oregon; and several nieces and nephews.
