Marilyn Kay Forslof (Van Den Top), beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on Nov. 26, 2018. She was born on June 29, 1957.
She and Mike raised three sons, all of whom she was very proud. She will always be remembered for her love of horses and her little yellow Mustang. Marilyn walked through many valleys in her time here on earth and had a heart of compassion and ministry for those struggling in this life. Her words of encouragement and uplifting prayers will be truly missed.
She is survived by her sons, Wallace (Terri) Forslof, Chase Forslof, and Justin Forslof; her seven grandchildren, David Forslof, Mia, Abigail, Samson, Gideon Forslof, Payton, and Chloe Forslof; sisters Viney (Vernon) Maas and Kimberley (Ernie) Tjoelker; brother Loren (Carolyn) Van Den Top; sister-in-law Melinda Van Den Top; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Ellen Van Den Top, and brother Jeff Van Den Top.
The family welcomes all to join them in a Celebration of Life in Sunrise Baptist Church of Custer at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Gillies Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Lynden.
