It is with great sadness that the family of Maria Bergley announces her passing, after a hard-fought battle with metastatic breast cancer, on Friday, Sept. 15, 2017 at the young age of 53, surrounded by her loved ones.
Maria will be lovingly remembered by her husband and best friend of 38 years, Wade, and her precious sons, William (Katie) and James (Emily). Maria will also be forever remembered by her three grandchildren, Katherine, Maria and Marcus; and her siblings, Frank Tistle and Sherri Casarez.
Maria was predeceased by her father, William Tistle, and her mother, Mary Bergley.
Maria will be remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.
Maria loved her family with a passion. She loved the Lord with all she had. One of Maria’s final requests was to forgo a memorial service. The family asks that you give prayers and grace to one another through these tough times. She lived life to the fullest and touched so many lives. Her favorite Bible verse was Psalm 46:10: “Be still, and know that I am God,” and she trusted that truth will all her heart.
