NOTICE OF METROPOLITAN PARKS DISTRICT PRO & CON COMMITTEE PARTICIPATION
The City of Ferndale is accepting applications for participants on pro and con committees to write local voters’ pamphlet statements related to the Metropolitan Parks District ballot measure to be considered by voters at the November 3, 2015 General Election.
Pro and Con committee members will be appointed by the Ferndale City Council, pursuant to state law, and will have a short timeframe (due by August 7) to write their statements regarding the measure. The committees consist of three members each, though members can select other persons to serve as an advisory committee.
Applications to serve are due by 5:00 p.m. Friday, July 24. Submit completed applications to the Ferndale City Clerk’s Office, P.O. Box 936, 2095 Main Street, Ferndale, WA 98248. Download the Boards & Commissions Application form at www.cityofferndale.org.
