Larry Curtis Harrison passed away on May 27, 2021, after a 10-year battle with heart disease.
Born in Bellingham to Noel and Florence (Wolfe) Harrison, he was fifth of six (children) in a loud, close-knit family raised on a dairy farm at Laurel. Larry graduated from Meridian High School in 1970 and had many interesting jobs ending with early retirement from the county due to his heart. A member of the Loyal Order of Camels, he spent many years helping put on the June fishing derby in Lynden.
Larry had a wicked sense of humor and a great laugh. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved nothing more than driving his tractor around his property in beautiful downtown Laurel, with its cedar trees with a giant swing, a zipline, and a treehouse (just some of his clever projects), and he would finish his day sitting around a campfire telling stories. Most of all, he loved his family and grandchildren.
Larry is survived by his life partner, Sue Pazaski; sons Leo (Amanda) and Taylor Harrison; sons of his heart Tate (Tanya), Travis (Aimee) and Torrey (Kim) Pazaski; grandchildren Clara and Nolan Harrison, and Tracen, Tanner, Caden, Emma and Josie Pazaski; sisters Joyce Herrin and Judy (Al) Larsen; and many nieces and nephews who loved him and will miss him tremendously.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Duane, Dale and Leo.
A celebration of Larry’s life will happen at a later date.
