Justin Michael Riddle, age 29, died in Bellingham on Oct. 14, 2017. He was born Nov. 9, 1987 in Bellingham to Reg and Lee Anne Riddle. Justin grew up in Ferndale and graduated from Ferndale High School in 2006.
Justin had struggled for the past few years, and our relationship with him was complicated. He seemed destined to repeatedly make the same life mistakes. It was difficult to watch, and it was impossible to fix. We mourn for the precocious, Lego-loving boy who lost himself in the act of trying to become an adult. We find solace in the knowledge that he is no longer in pain.
He is survived by his parents; his two sisters; grandparents Gail and Walter Riddle and Carol Christopher.
There will not be a service. In lieu of flowers or if you just want to do something, donations in his memory can be made to the Ferndale Food Bank or the Ferndale School District.
