Joan J. Snydar passed away on June 30, 2015. Joan was born in Olean, New York, on Dec. 22, 1933.
Joan was an amazing mother, grandmother and wife. She was a cancer survivor who fought for life and won for 10 years.
Mom loved our Lord, Jesus Christ. She is up in heaven dancing her polkas she so loved. We miss you so very much.
Joan is survived by her daughters, Dianne Gibson and Judy Snydar; and her sons, Jim, Jeff and Dan Snydar.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; her mother and father, Adolph and Josephine Jonak; and her two bothers, Adolph and Robert Jonak.
A rosary service was held on Monday, July 6, in Moles Ferndale and a funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, July 7, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ferndale followed by a graveside service at Greenacres Memorial Park.
