Gina Marie Eddy passed away at her home in Maple Falls, Washington, on Oct. 19, 2017.
She was a daughter of Kenneth and Georgina Eddy of Sumas. Gina graduated from Nooksack Valley High School and went on to become a licensed beautician and then also received her associate’s degree as a physician’s assistant from Whatcom Community College. Gina enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking and learning new gourmet meals. She loved to buy shoes and purses, and also enjoyed going to the casino to socialize.
She is survived by her loving husband, Shane Janitscheck; her brothers and sister, Bob and Karen Eddy, Bret Eddy, Bart Eddy, Ann Eddy Monore, and Bill Mare; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, in the Sumas Senior Center, located at 451 2nd St. Sumas.
