Gerry Beatty

Gerry K. Beatty left us to be with her lord Jesus on Aug. 26. She was the fifth of 6 children born to Jake and Minnie Kalsbeek of Everson. Her siblings were Marvin, Gerrit, Harry, Morris, and Marie. Graduating from Lynden H.S. in 1945, Gerry married Bruce Beatty, of Wenatchee, in 1947. They made their home in Seattle and raised five children. Bruce passed away in 1984. Gerry was a member of Shoreline Christian Reformed Church. Survivors include: sister Marie (Gerrit) TenKley; children Karen (Terry) VanNatta; Paul (Anita); Steve (Rachel); Jan Beatty (Roy Hinderer); Christie (Jonah) Kirk; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Evergreen-Washelli is in charge of arrangements.
