George Edward Roberts, 93, an agriculture and shop teacher for 32 years including at Meridian High School, went home to be with his Lord on Sept. 3, 2016 in Wenatchee.
He was born on March 29, 1923 in Lynden, attended Lynden High School and earned two degrees from Washington State University. He and his wife, Dorothy, whom he met at WSU, celebrated their 70th anniversary on Aug. 18, 2016. She and four children survive.
