Gary Knaus Sr.

  Gary L Knaus Sr., 72, of Acme, lost his battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy on Sept. 11, 2015, at his home with wife and family at his side.
  Gary was born on April 7, 1943, in Bellingham to George and Helen Knaus. Gary graduated from Mount Baker High School in 1961. He married the love of his life, Jacquelyn Erickson, on Dec. 22, 1972, in Bothell.
  Gary was a loving husband, father and papa and he will be dearly missed. He loved hunting and spending time with his family.
  Gary is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn; sons Gary Knaus Jr. and Shawn (Chandra) Knaus; daughter Tara Knaus; grandchildren Kaylee, Jorja, Alexa and Cody; brother George (Joanne); and sisters Nancy (Alan) and Candy (Doug).
  He was preceded in death by his parents.
  A memorial service will be held on Oct. 4, 2015, at 2 p.m. at the Deming Logging Show.
