Fred A Stremler, 84, passed away two days after Valentine’s Day on Feb. 16, 2018. Fred Andrew Stremler joined his wife Alison, daughter Chris, son-in-law Moose and granddaughter Marci in Heaven with their Savior Jesus.
Fred passed peacefully in his sleep, as any man or woman who loves God and lives believing his only comfort in life and death is that he belongs completely to his faithful Savior, Jesus Christ, can hope to do.
A retired U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran, graduate of San Diego State University and father of five girls, Fred is survived by four of his daughters, seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Fred, the youngest child of Fred and Anna Stremler, was loved by many for his friendly easy-going spirit. He was raised in Lynden, schooled at Lynden Christian and lived in San Diego; Vancouver, Washington; Anchorage, Alaska; and Phoenix, Arizona.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 12, in Monumenta Cemetery of Lynden. The family invites all to a time of fellowship afterward at the Fieldstone Loop Club House, 500 Fieldstone Loop, Lynden.
