Donna “Suzanne” Nims, 70, passed away on April 27, 2015, in Green’s Hospital in San Diego, California. She was born on Sept. 11, 1944, in Bellingham to Don and Pauline Nims.
Suzanne grew up in Maple Falls. She graduated from Mt. Si High School in Snoqualmie in 1962. She enjoyed reading, watching movies, spending time with her family, good conversation and laughing.
Suzanne is survived by her son, Steve Hackford, of Marysville; daughter Amanda Hackford of San Diego; brothers Jerry and Larry; uncle Herbert Killam; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service to celebrate Suzanne’s life is being planned for later in the year.
