David John Segaar, 66, of Lynden, entered heaven on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018 after many years of medical illness. David was a graduate of Lynden Christian High School, a member of Grace Baptist Fellowship and a retired Lynden firefighter of 15 years.
David was the husband of Kristy Segaar, father of Brian Segaar of Lynden, Christopher and Leah Calvin of Lynden, Nathan Segaar of Blaine and Adam and Kristen Segaar of Lynden.
David was the proud grandfather of Nolyn, Hailey, Elle, Parker, Elijah, Judah, Jessica, Bryce, Abi, Ava, Ryker and Layla.
David was born in Greenwood, Minnesota, to Raymond and Bernice (TeVelde) Segaar and was a brother of Marie, Jan, Barb, Dorothy, Pete, Bob and Jim; with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, in Grace Baptist Fellowship.
