Dale Oliver Wine, age 91, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, Sept. 27, 2023, at the Christian Health Care Center in Lynden.
Dale was born June 22, 1932, in Nampa, Idaho. He is predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Florence (Bentley) Wine, brothers Kenneth and Ronald and sister Gloria. Dale graduated from Elim Bible College and following the Lord’s leading, became a Christian minister.
Dale married Esther Christensen and together they served as full time missionaries in several countries including Canada and Taiwan, plus short term ministry in Bulgaria, Albania and India.
Dale is survived by his wife of 68 years, Esther; daughters Tamara Ellis (Rick), Gloria Nelson (Wade), Marlene Varro (David), and Kerry Wine; 17 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
Dale’s graveside service will be Friday, Nov. 3, 2023, at 1 p.m. in Greenwood Cemetery. The memorial service will be on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Good Shepherd Bible Church, 1254 W. Smith Road, Bellingham, with refreshments to follow. All are welcome.
