Coni Tolle Johnson, of Port Townsend, Washington, passed away Friday, Dec. 1, 2017. She was born in Sumas on May 19, 1948.
She and her husband lived on acreage near Port Townsend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Agnes Tolle of Sumas.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Johnson; two children, Leah and Reggie, and two grandchildren; sister Lois Tolle Doeksen of Denver, Colorado, and brother Walter Tolle of Everson.
Coni graduated from Nooksack Valley High School. She was a registered nurse and worked for the State of Washington at state hospitals. She had many stories to tell about the dangerous people she cared for at the various institutions. After she retired, she managed the Tri Area Food Bank for 12 years.
Coni loved to work in her yard, and enjoyed sewing, riding her motorcycle and camping in their new motorhome.
There will be a Celebration of Life at the Elks Club in Port Townsend, date and time pending.
