On Sunday, July 16, 2017, Christine Groppe, age 105, departed for glory. Her legacy of accomplishments and exemplary Christian life will live on for generations.
She leaves her loving daughter, Lynn (Gary) Hardaway; grandchildren Robin Hardaway, Brent Hardaway, Scott (Noel) Hardaway and Michael (Denise) Brumley.
Christine’s memorial service will take place on Aug. 12 in the Mountain Room of the Samarkand Retirement Community in Santa Barbara, California. Mrs Groppe donated her body for scientific study to Loma Linda University Medical School.
