Cecilia Crnich

  Cecilia Adele Crnich was born on Lopez Island to George and Ruth (Van Bogart) McCauley on Feb. 28, 1928. She and Joseph Crnich Jr. were married in Bellingham in June 1947, and together they raised three children, Charles, David and Jackie. Adele enjoyed baking, knitting, crocheting and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed every holiday and playing cards and games.
  Preceding Adele in death was her husband of 48 years, Joseph; son Charles; brothers Edmond, Robert and Jack McCauley; and sisters Annie Brown and Charlene Gustafson.
  Survivors include her brother Ronald McCauley, sister Virginia Craiger, daughter-in-law Barbara Crnich, son Dave (Judy) Crnich, daughter Jackie (Jeff) Crandall, 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
  She will be laid to rest at Greenacres Memorial Park of Ferndale during a private family service.
  Memorial contributions may be made in Adele’s name to the Meridian Public School Foundation.
