Barbara Siemion

  Barbara Mary (Walczyk) Siemion passed away on Sept. 1, 2015. She was born in Aberdeen on Oct. 25, 1932, to Andrew and Sylvia (Baretich) Walczyk.
  Barbara graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1950, and later met and married Frank Siemion. The couple lived and worked in Olympia. Barbara worked within the Secretary of State’s Office and later became the director of volunteers at Capital Medical Center. Once retired, she moved to Sandy Point and later to Correll Park in Ferndale. She was a devout volunteer throughout her lifetime, giving her time generously to many local organizations.
  Living relatives include her daughter, Michele; son Matt, his wife Kris and their daughters Alyniece and Mataya of Bellingham; and her brother, Patrick Walczyk of Lake Oswego, Oregon.
  She was preceded in death by her younger brother, Michael Walczyk.
