Angela Metzger

  Angela Agnes Metzger, 59, of Lynden, passed into the arms of her Savior on Saturday, March 5, 2016, six months after being diagnosed with cancer. She accepted the Lord Jesus as her Savior at the age of 22 and spent the rest of her life in a way that would glorify Him.
  Angie was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Sept. 22, 1956, to Albert Matulis and Agnes Andrulis Matulis. She was raised in Philadelphia where she married Norman C. Metzger on Sept. 9, 1978.
  She worked as a legal secretary until she had her first child and became a stay-at-home mom, a full-time job that she loved. In July 1993 she, along with her family, relocated to Lynden so that they could be part of a church just across the border in Abbotsford, British Columbia. She spent the next 23 years raising her family and sharing the love of Jesus with everyone she encountered.
