Amy Louise McGreevy was born on May 14, 1982 in Pomeroy, Washington. She passed from this earth too early at the age of 34 on April 10, 2017 in Spokane.
Amy grew up in Lynden, graduating from Lynden High School in 2000. Amy graduated from Gonzaga University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and from Colorado State University-Boulder with her master’s degree in educational psychology. She ultimately returned to Washington to work in education with Eastern Washington University and Excelerate Success. She was always a proponent of the underdog.
Amy is survived by her daughter, Kaela Joyce Anadale; parents Doug and Debbie McGreevy of Cheney; siblings Jim (Gaby) of Royal City, Mary (Joe) Johnson of Gilbert, Arizona, and Stephanie (Marc) Hildesheim of Rathdrum, Idaho; nephews Malachy, Eamonn and Hudson; nieces Brenna, Olivia, Erin, Faith, Emily and Alannah; also many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 18, at St. Rose of Lima Parish, 460 N. 5th St., Cheney.

Arrangements were entrusted to Cheney Funeral Chapel, 1632 W. 1st St., Cheney.
