Valgene “Val” Leighton, age 91, passed away on May 23, 2018 in Boulder City, Nevada. Val was born to Walter and Eunice on Route 3, Ferndale, where she was raised through high school.
Val was preceded in death by her husband Lindy, father Walter, mother Eunice, and brother Walt. She is survived by her children Lynda and Michael; grandchildren Chad and Danielle, and great-grandchildren Felix and Meadow.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 1, in Enterprise Cemetery, 7041 Vista Dr., Ferndale.
