Faunt Visser

  Faunt Arlene (Lorenz) Visser passed away peacefully at Grace Manor adult family home of Bellingham on Feb. 12, 2018. Faunt was born to Adolf Lyman and Effie Mary (Plaster) Lorenz in Bellingham.
  Faunt joined the Women’s Army Corps in 1950, was honorably discharged and returned home in 1953, when she met the love of her life, Harold F. Visser. They married a year later and together raised five children in Whatcom County.
  Funeral and graveside services, including a military farewell, were held on Friday, Feb. 16, in Greenacres in Ferndale.
  The family recommends donations be made in Faunt’s name to Whatcom Hospice House or to the South Lake Whatcom Fire Department; contact info for both is available online.
