Terri Lynne Potts went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, Dec. 25, 2017 after her courageous two-year battle with cancer. She was known for her generous, fun and caring ways.
Terri was born in Bellingham to John and Grayce (Belew) Potts on Feb. 11, 1954. She grew up in Everson and was a 1972 Nooksack Valley High School graduate. Terri worked 38 years in the grocery industry. She also cared for her parents during the last four years of their lives.
Terri loved spending time with her four granddaughters; taking walks, making crafts and just being silly. She attended First Reformed Church of Lynden.
Terri is survived by her son, Travis (Lissa) Willemsen and their four daughters Emma, Thea, Greta and Lyla; and brothers Everett Potts, Tim (Bonnie) Potts and Randy (Angela) Potts. She was preceded in death by sister Sandra Hallberg.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018 in First Reformed Church, with Pastor Ryan Bajema officiating. Memorials are suggested to Whatcom Hospice Foundation, 3001 Squalicum Pkwy. Suite 11, Bellingham, WA 98225.
