Sylvia Marie Nightingale, age 82, died on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017, in Bellingham.
Sylvia is survived by her children, Hap, Bill, Dudley and Amy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Nightingale.
Sylvia was born on May 6, 1935 in Bothell to parents Paul Ross and Ruth McDaniel Ross. She was a homemaker and mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She served as a past member of the Meridian School Board and Meridian PTA, and she was a founding member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.
A brief service and reception is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, in Redeemer Lutheran Church, 858 W. Smith Rd. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Sylvia’s life.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Whatcom County for the dedicated care of our mother in her final days.
