Marilyn Ann Williams, 68, of Nooksack, died Thursday, Oct. 13, in Lynden. She was born June 15, 1948 in Bellingham to John and Marie (Zorendrager) Zylstra and was a 1966 graduate of Nooksack Valley High School. She married Jack Williams on June 28, 1968 in Nooksack Reformed Church.
Marilyn was an excellent homemaker and a talented quilter and crafter. In spite of a long struggle with health issues, she remained devoted to family and friends. She was a true friend, willing to help anyone in need.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Andrew and D. Ray “Butch” Zylstra.
She is survived by her husband, Jack; son Scott and wife Lynn Williams; daughter Jeannie Williams; brother Pete and wife Betty Zylstra; sister-in-law Darlene Zylstra; twin sister Ann and husband Ron Alexander; and step-grandchildren Ashley, Brittney and Carson.
A private graveside service along with a reception was held Monday, Oct. 17, in Nooksack Reformed Church.
