Harold Floyd Kortlever, age 95, of Lynden, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024, at the Christian Health Care Center.
Harold was born and raised in Lynden and attended the Second Christian Reformed Church with his family and younger siblings Ruth, Betty and Bob.
For Harold, his path took him to working at Beachwood Resort for 31 years. He had the privilege of being able to work somewhere he loved and also got to live on campus. He and his wife, Laura, were married for 43 years before her passing in July 2021.
Harold is adored by many and recently counted just how big his family has grown. He has four children, Gordon (Janelle), Ken (Sarri), Jan, Wayne (Pam). 21 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Harold loved playing games such as Cribbage and Fast Track with his family and friends.
He had a long great life and was excited to go home and be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
There have been no funeral arrangements made yet at this time.
