Jack Orval Whitman, age 95, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023 in Cheney, Washington.
Jack was born June 5, 1928 in Ferndale to parents, George and Elma (Fenton) Whitman. He was drafted into the Army and served in the Korean War. Jack was a self-employed logger alongside his dad, then went on to work for Brooks Lumber Company in Bellingham.
Jack married Helen Barnholt on Dec. 23, 1950. Together they have three sons Alan (Rae), Randy (Lynette), and Frank; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and numerous other family members.
Preceded in death are wife, Helen in 1978; and Jack’s brother, Pat Whitman in 1995.

A graveside service will be at Enterprise Cemetery on Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 11 a.m.
