Hannah Wisniewski

Hannah (Kelly) Wisniewski passed away peacefully at her residence in Lynden on Monday, Aug. 1. 

Predeceased by her husband, Edward Wisnewski, Hannah is survived by her sons, Paul and Séan, her daughter-in-law, Anne, brothers Tom (London), Frank (Australia) and Jerry (Ireland), sister-in-law, Jenny,  her nieces, Katrina and Erin, relatives in Ireland, and a wide circle of friends.

A native of Co. Kerry, Ireland, Hannah came to the U.S.A. in 1971, where she met and married Eddie, her husband of 45 years. They settled in San Diego, California.

For many years, Hannah managed her own real estate business, before retiring to Lynden in 2002.

Hannah’s friends are invited to the Jansen Arts Center, 321 Front St., on Saturday, 17 at 1 p.m. for an informal Irish wake to celebrate her life. No flowers, please. Donations, if desired, to the Jansen Arts Center or the Lynden Senior Center. 

May she rest in peace. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Gillies Funeral Home in Lynden.
