Harley Leland Sanborn passed away peacefully on April 22.
Born and raised in Vermont, Harley worked many years for the railroad and later moved to the state of Washington, where he retired from the Border Patrol in 1997.
Harley was a car enthusiast and loved cars from the 1940s and 1950s, especially the Chevys.
Harley was passionate about the history of the railroad, classical music and enjoyed chatting with friends and reminiscing about growing up in Vermont.
In retirement, Harley enjoyed playing bridge with friends and an occasional game of pool. He was a loving man who will be missed by many.
Harley is predeceased by his mother, Helen; father, Harley; brother, Fred Sanborn; and daughter, Sandra Place. Harley is survived by his daughter, Virginia Yepez of Fort Worth, TX; and six grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
