Karen MacArthur Hamer passed away on Sept. 10, 2018, in Ephrata, Washington.
She was born on Nov. 17, 1940, and raised in Bellingham. She transferred to the Meridian School District, graduating in the class of 1958.
She loved working with Tri-Chem and ceramics.
Karen was a kind and giving soul.
She is survived by sons John, Brian and Joey Hicks; and daughters Joann Clallim, Sharon Tycson and Sue Hicks.
Karen was predeceased by son Jerry Hicks, grandson Sean Hicks, her parents, and brother Bob.
