Barbara Jean Nelson, of Lynden, passed away on April 30, 2019. She was born on March 10, 1933, to Jack and Myrtle Shelly in Van Buren, Arkansas, and was the eldest of seven children.
She was preceded in death by husband, Fred, and son Gregg.
She is survived by her daughter Sherri; sons Rick (Diane) and Bryan (Toni); brothers Bob and Dennie; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 18, in Glen Echo Community Center east of Everson.
