Margaret Grace Sayer, who was born on Jan. 15, 1926, in Lytton, British Columbia, Canada, died on Dec. 24, 2018, in Ferndale. She lived in Redmond and Sammamish, Washington, for nearly 60 years before moving to Ferndale two years ago.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Richard, three years ago.
Margie was a beloved elder in the Sea Bird Island Tribe of Agassiz, B.C.
She was employed by the Eddie Bauer Co. for many years and was respected as an expert seamstress in experimental design.
In recent months and in her passing, she was surrounded and cared for 24/7 by loving nieces, nephews and many other relatives. She maintained her dignity and was able to communicate her desires until her final days.
