Pastor Ken Koeman, age 75, died very peacefully on Aug. 8, 2018 after a brief illness. He was a Shepherd to God’s people, fulfilling this as a beloved teaching pastor to many churches in the Pacific Northwest. He also served churches in New York, Albuquerque, Portland, Oregon, and Churchhill, Montana.
Ken was the cherished husband of Kay for over 52 years, and grateful father to son Kent Koeman (Jodi Riemersma) and daughter Kate deRegt (Ben). He was the proud and loving grandfather to Jamison, Arianna, Isaiah, Hadley and Andrew. He was a loving friend to adults and children, and brother to seven siblings.
A celebration of Ken’s life was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, in the Lynden Christian High School gym.
