Larry Bert Richner, age 82, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 16, 2018, due to complications from diabetes. He passed away peacefully while surrounded by his family.
Larry was born Feb. 2, 1936 in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, to parents Bert and Thelma Richner. Larry deeply valued time spent with his children and grandchildren.
Larry is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marilyn; children Nancy Scheepbouwer of Everson, Jim (Shelly) Richner of Everson and Kay (Paul) Yost of Deming; grandchildren Kim (Caleb Johnson), Cody Scheepbouwer, Janelle, Trevor and Heather Richner, Dustin, Terri, Tyler, Erika, Emily, McKenzie and Abby Yost, Tristen Richner-Rector, Gavin Chapman and Michelle Karwal; great-granddaughter Aubry; siblings Sally (Gary) Culbert, Tobias (Sue) Richner, Dave (Maxine) Richner, Leo Richner, Becky Unger; and sister-in-law Lorraine Richner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Johnnie and Dan, daughter Sally, and son Roger.
A memorial celebration of Larry’s life will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, July 26, at 3C’s Farm, 6222 Mt. Baker Highway, Deming. Private family interment will be in Greenacres Cemetery.
